Trust celebrates 1,000 days without MRSA

Wye Valley NHS Trust is celebrating 1,000 days without a case of hospital-acquired MRSA bacteraemia (blood stream) infection in its hospitals - making it the top performer in the West Midlands. Local residents urged to take action to protect antibiotics

Local residents, patients, and pet owners, are being urged to take action in a world-wide campaign to protect our antibiotics. This year marks the first World Antibiotic Awareness Week (November 16 to 22), launched by Public Health England, which aims to raise awareness of the global threat of antibiotic resistance. Don’t bring Norovirus into Herefordshire hospitals or care homes

Chocolates, magazines, grapes?  Whatever you bring when you visit, make sure it’s not Norovirus.
