Patient, Lorraine Mills, is helping Herefordshire Macmillan NHS Lymphoedema Service celebrate its’ ten year anniversary, a decade after she was one of its’ first patients. The Emergency Department at Hereford County Hospital remains under severe pressure due to the number of patients it is currently seeing. Wye Valley NHS Trust is advising people that they could face long waits in the County Hospital’s Emergency Department following an extremely busy weekend. First New Year babies born at Hereford County Hospital

Hereford County Hospital midwives were delighted to welcome the arrival of three babies born on New Year’s Day 2016.  Twin baby girls, Sophie weighing 4lbs, and Fern weighing 3lbs 10oz, were the first to arrive on this special day at 5.12pm and 5.14pm, followed by a third baby girl who arrived at 5.23pm.
