What to bring with you for your induction
No doubt, you will have your own list of essentials to bring such as your wash bag, change of clothes etc. However, some women have found these little extras really useful, especially when their induction has taken some time.
- Bring plenty of maternity pads, when your waters break you might be surprised how much there is!
- I liked having my own pillow,as it felt like I had a little bit of home with me
- Don’t forget your phone charger, but try to ignore all those messages asking if baby is here yet
- For me it was my eyemask and headphones. They helped me rest on a busy ward
- Luxury travel shampoo and conditioners - a little bit of pampering before or after having your baby
- Plenty of snacks to keep your energy up
- Still isotonic drinks
- I took an adult colouring book, and it helped me relax to get those hormones flowing
