Mr Vijai Ranawat FRCS (T+O)
Job Title: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Qualifications:

- FRCS (T+O) 2008.
Mr Ranawat studied at University College London Medical School and graduated in 1997. He underwent Basic Surgical Training in Essex followed by a year of further experience in Hobart, Australia. He undertook Higher Surgical Training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore Rotation which involved several Hospitals in North London. He has done two Fellowships, one in Adelaide, Australia in Sports Surgery and Lower Limb Arthroplasty. The second Fellowship was at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore in Complex Lower Limb and Revision Arthroplasty.
After completing his training he moved to Adelaide in Australia where he worked for several years specialising in Lower Limb joint Replacement and Trauma Surgery. He relocated back to the UK in 2019 taking up an appointment in Hereford as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

Inpatient Services
Mr Ranawat operates all day on Friday's.
Conditions Treated
Mr Ranawat treats conditions of the hip and knee and specialises in joint replacements of the hip and knee including revision surgery. He also undertakes general trauma work.
