Work placement
This route is for anyone who wants to work with Wye Valley NHS Trust, who is completing a work placement that will contribute toward a specific qualification. Examples of this might be work placement hours that are required towards a T-Level qualification or BTEC qualification.
For this route our work experience team will work with the education provider and the applicant to identify the most suitable work placement location, which will be based on what needs to be achieved during the placement and the hours that need to be completed. This might consist of a rotation between departments or teams or being static in one place.
Throughout the placement the work experience team will keep in regular contact with the learner and the educations provider to ensure the learner is achieving their course objectives.
Within this offer the student will:
- Undertake an agreed recruitment process
- Undertake a comprehensive Trust induction
- Have access to all study resources within the organisation
- Receive regular progress reviews with your manager and/or work placement lead
- Complete a feedback form upon completion of the work experience
How can I access this?
We currently only offer this to limited education courses and this can be accessed through your education provider representatives/ work placement co-ordinators.
