Four new babies born on Christmas Day, 25 December 2023, at Hereford County Hospital brought joy and festive cheer for their new parents and the midwifery team who helped to deliver the babies.
The first special Christmas Day delivery, a baby boy, Rory Williams, arrived shortly after 7am weighing 7lb 2oz. He was followed by three more special Christmas Day deliveries - a baby boy and a set of twins.
The families were given a special Christmas bauble to remind them of the birth in years to come, and the little ones were also given a Christmas hat!
Amie Symes, Associate Director of Midwifery at Valley NHS Trust, said: “It has been such as joyous occasion for the new parents and our fantastic midwives to celebrate the arrival of our special Christmas babies born at Hereford County Hospital on 25 December 2023.”
“Christmas babies have a very special birthday. It was wonderful for our midwives to present the families with their special bauble and Christmas hat.
“From all the maternity team at WVT, we wish the families of all babies born both at Christmas and throughout the year, a very Merry Christmas.”
